"Skullgirls" Heads to PC with Expanded Multiplayer Functionality

Marvelous AQL pitches in to help kick off development

The folks behind indie 2D fighter Skullgirls recently had some very good news for everyone clamoring for a PC version. Thanks to a partnership between Autumn Games (Skullgirls' existing publisher) and Marvelous AQL, development on the port is set to kick off in the coming weeks.

The agreement is in its final stages and, for the icing on the cake, Marvelous AQL has opted for more than just a quick port of the same content. Instead, the PC version will feature "expanded multiplayer functionality," with lobbies used as an example. Peter Bartholow, who made the announcement, expects the project to take around four months to complete.

Expect more information as release draws near, including details on the public beta, new features, and more. The PC version of Skullgirls will be released through pretty much all means of digital distribution.
