Japanese toy/film producer Reo Anzai posted a trailer for his newest animation film "Moeru Butsuzou Ningen" (English title: The Burning Buddha Man) on YouTube today. The mysterious film voiced by popular anime voice actress Yuka Iguchi and veteran actor Minori Terada hits Japanese theaters on May 18th. The Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival will host the world premiere of the film on February 21st and 22nd.
Beniko (vo: Yuka Iguchi) is a high school girl. Since her parents were killed by someone, she has been living with Enjyu (Minori Terada), a head priest of the temple and her parents’ old friend. One day she wanders into Enjyu’s room and meets an ugly creature that looks like a fusion of her parents and Buddha statue. This film is created by "Gekimation" which is a basic way of Anime creation.

Profile of the director:
This is a debut film of a new creator, Ujicha, who lives in Kyoto. He did almost all of the drawing, shooting
and directing. His talent was discovered by his professor, Reo Anzai, who is famous as a figure and toy
producer and who creates a boom of giveaway toys coming with snacks.
