"Rayman Legends" Pushed Back to September, Goes Multi-Platform

Former Wii U exclusive also heading to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

Gorgeous platformer sequel Rayman Legends was originally due to hit Wii U as an exclusive, and after a delay that pushed it out of the console's launch window, it was then scheduled for February in North America. Well, not only has it been pushed back to September, but Rayman Legends will also be going multi-platform.

Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners can now look forward to joining in on the fun, though the announcement might come as a bit disconcerting to those looking forward to it as a Wii U-only treat. While Ubisoft Montpellier is developing all three versions, the one on Wii U still has a few distinct features like GamePad-specific sections and simultaneous multiplayer between the GamePad and Wii remotes.

At least more people will now get a chance to play Rayman Legends when it arrives in September.
