Ubisoft to Soothe "Rayman Legends" Delay with Exclusive Wii U Demo

Legends was pushed back to September in multi-platform expansion

Wii U owners were none too happy to learn Rayman Legends was being pushed back to September to line the Wii U release up with the recently announced Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. Ubisoft is hoping to mend those wounds with the promise of a new demo, which will be hitting Wii U exclusively soon.

There's already one demo available in the eShop, but maybe this will help tide some folks over since the platformer was originally supposed to debut in February. Here's what Ubisoft had to say on Facebook:

Thanks for all your feedback regarding Rayman Legends in all of its forms. We have heard you and we will continue to listen. We understand your frustration and that you want to get your hands on the game. We are working with the development team to provide you with a new, exclusive demo for the Wii U soon. Stay tuned for more.

The multi-platform move is great news for gamers in general, not so much for Nintendo.
