Crunchyroll Adds "GJ Club" Anime to Winter Lineup

Episodes set to stream Wednesdays at 11:00 am Pacific

A new series is kicking off on Crunchyroll this week, with the addition of GJ Club to the winter 2013 streaming lineup. Episodes will debut every Wednesday at 11:00 am Pacific Time starting on February 20. GJ Club kicks off this week for premium members with episode 7, which free members can check out on February 27. The first six episodes will arrive at a later date.

GJ Club will be available to folks in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

Based on the light novels written by Shin Araki and Illustrated by Aruya, GJ Club (GJ-bu) is directed by Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (episodes of Blue Exorcist and Guilty Crown, key animation on YuruYuri), with series composition by Hideaki Koyasu (Akikan!, Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital) and animation production by Dogakobo (YuruYuri, Mangirl!). Here's Crunchyroll's synopsis:

The story centers around a high school student named Kyoya Shinomiya, who has been forced to join a club at his high school, called GJ-bu (Good Job). There, he meets the four unique female members of the club, Mao Amatsuka, Shion Sumeragi, Megumi Amatsuka, and Kirara Bernstein. From then on, he becomes dragged into their antics and interactions that take place in the club.
