Japan's Finnish Embassy Celebrates "Strike Witches" Character Birthday

Birthdays of Yuichi Nakamura and Haganai's Kobato also marked

The Finnish embassy in Tokyo is known for otaku tendencies, such as moe twitter icons. Yesterday, it really flew its geek flag by celebrating the birthday of Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen - the Strike Witches girl based on legendary Ilmavoimat World War II ace Eino Ilmari "Illu" Juutilainen.

 

On twitter @FinEmbTokyo, @ayuruohashi (the character's voice actress) and @humikane (creator/character designer) all joined in the celebration of 's big day.
