"It’s Not My Fault That I’m Not Popular!" Heroine Talks Up Her Upcoming Anime

Mokochi explains the upcoming "full mojo anime"

After December's volume 3 of Nico Tanigawa's It’s Not My Fault That I’m Not Popular! confirmed that the web-manga was due to be adapted into anime, spin-off It's Not My Fault That My Friend's Unpopular! ran with a promo for the sure to be much talked series.

The comedy of acute social unease follows Kuroki Tomoko, who's in for a rude awakening when she finds that the popularity and social graces she thought she had while sitting around in her underwear playing otome game/dating sims don't carry over in reality. Desperately, she tries to ensure that she hasn't turned out to be a "mojo" (gloomy, unpopular woman).

See some fairly NSFW tribute art by manga artist Masaki Kawakami, recently posted on the series office promo site.
