"Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate" Adds GamePad-Only Play in April Update

Capcom responds to community feedback with new functionality

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is scheduled to arrive on March 19, but Capcom already has an update planned for April. Thanks to community feedback, the update will add the ability to play MH3U away from the TV on the GamePad.

In addition to the GamePad functionality, the update also adds cross-region play, so folks in North America and Europe can jam together with up to four players.

Capcom will also be supporting MH3U for several months after launch with additional downloadable quests for both Wii U and 3DS, the first of which will be available upon the game's release.
