Masamune Shirow and Koshi Rikudo's "Koukaku no Pandora - Ghost Urn" Manga Collected

Creators of "Ghost in the Shell" and "Excel Saga" team up on cyborg girl manga

Last year, Newtype Ace launched a new manga series written by Ghost in the Shell creator Masamune Shirow and illustrated by Excel Saga manga author Koshi Rikudo. Volume one of the intriguing Koukaku no Pandora - Ghost Urn has been collected for release in Japan this weekend.

A bit predictably considering the talent, it follows a girl whose brain can be transferred between prosthetic bodies depending on need. Surviving a terrorist incident on the way to a man-made resort island, she takes up the mission of solving the mystery behind the incident, with a scientist manipulating the naive girl.
