"Hyouka" Promotes Home Town's Traditional Spring Festival

Eru Chitanda voice actress Satomi Satō scheduled to appear along with other "Hyouka" goodies

Takayama, in Gifu prefecture, the basis for fictional Kamiyama, is again embracing its connection to the Hyouka anime and light novels. Dating back to the 17th century, its local April Takayama Festival is famous for its ornate floats and complex puppets. This year, the spring rites will be joined by the Hyouka x Red Cross blood drive, sale of special goods, anime inspired food and an appearance by Eru Chitanda voice actress Satomi Satō.
