"Dragon Ball: Tap Battle" Smartphone Game is Exactly What It Sounds Like

Namco Bandai hits Japan with a Saiyan-battling Android/iOS app

Anyone who loves tapping mercilessly on their phone's screen will love the conceit of Namco Bandai's latest Dragon Ball Z game. Dragon Ball: Tap Battle has Goku and co. doing just that on smartphones in Japan, with Super Saiyan slobberknockers playing out to the tune of furious screen-tapping action.

Fights are broken up by action events that allow tapping for additional damage, and players can battle one another via Bluetooth connectivity. Priced at ¥350 ($3.75), Dragon Ball: Tap Battle will be compatible with iPhone (4, 4S, and 5) and Android devices (version 2.3 or higher).
