Miyuki Sawashiro and Emiri Kato Join Japanese "My Little Pony" Dub

"Milky Holmes" girls previously cast in April series

With this spring's Japanese premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic around the corner, a Monday press conference was held to announce the latest voice cast additions. In January, it was announced that the four Milky Holmes girls were on board for the dub.

Suzuko Mimori (Sherlock - Pinkie Pie)
Sora Tokui (Nero - Applejack)
Mikoi Sasaki (Elly - Rarity)
Izumi Kitta (Cordelia - Rainbow Dash)

Now, Miyuki Sawashiro (Kurapika in Hunter x Hunter) has been presented as the new Twilight Sparkle, while Emiri Kato (Madoka Magica's Kyubey, YuruYuri's Sakurako, Lucky Star's Kagami Hiiragi) voices Fluttershy.

Motoko Kumai (Gon in Gon, Shaoran Li in Cardcaptor Sakura) will voice Spike the Dragon while Kikuko Inoue (Ah! My Goddess' Bellgandy) is Celestia.
