Fan Celebrates "Super Metroid" 19th Anniversary with a Symphony

"Super Metroid Symphony" now available to download

Super Metroid was originally released on March 19, 1994, so we're just a few days past the 19th anniversary of the Super Nintendo classic. To celebrate both the game and the unforgettable soundtrack by Kenji Yamamoto and Minako Hamano, Super Metroid Symphony has arrived.

The hour-long tribute soundtrack comes from Blake Robinson and his ongoing music project The Synthetic Orchestra. Robinson uses FL Studio to recreate classic video game tunes as orchestral arrangements, and you can hear some samples of his Super Metroid work in the clip below.

The full soundtrack is now available to download for $10 via Loudr and iTunes.
