VIDEO: "rain" Gameplay Clip Does Its Best to Stay Dry

Acquire and Sony prepare to tell "A tale only the rain knows…"

In rain players take control of an invisible boy whose silhouette can only be seen in the rain. Originally unveiled at Gamescom, rain comes from PlayStation C.A.M.P! (Tokyo Jungle, echochrome), and a new clip of gameplay footage reveals what looks to be a really interesting journey.

Have a look at some of the first chapter, "The Children and the Night," below.

The boy is chasing after a girl with an invisible silhouette, and he becomes invisible himself once he sets off into the world of rain. Mysterious monsters give chase, forcing the boy to hide in dry areas and learn to navigate the world in different ways.

The first live media demo will take place at this week's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, CA.
