Grasshopper Manufacture and GungHo Tease New Action Game

Concept art surfaces and Suda51 makes some comments

Earlier this year, developer Grasshopper Manufacture (Killer7, No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned) merged with GungHo Online Entertainment (Puzzle & Dragons), and we're already starting to see something come out of the acquisition. There's currently no title, but concept art recently surfaced for a new action game.

Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games already have Suda51's Killer is Dead prepping for a summer release, but this is something completely different. Below you'll see the game's protagonist, who apparently says, "Whatcha looking at, commoner?" on the Japanese promotional art.

When Siliconera asked Suda51 about the significance of the prominent red in the artwork below, he pointed to the red door and said something crazy is going on in there, and that "It's basically a different world on the other side."

According to GungHo and Grasshopper, the game is not set in Japan, but it does take place somewhere in Asia. That's about all we have so far, but hopefully the folks behind the action will dish out some more info soon.
