Capcom Introduces "Super Duper Street Fighter IV" for April Fools'

A not-so-unbelievable April Fools' Day gag appears!

Hey, everyone, Capcom has some jokes for you! The company's April Fools' Day gag concerns the latest update to Street Fighter IV, appropriately titled Super Duper Street Fighter IV. See, it works because it's really not that unbelievable.

According to the press release, Capcom is super duper excited to present Super Duper Street Fighter IV, which ushers in a new era of "duper combos," along with balance changes and content updates. Thanks to the addition of the yellow Duper Meter, pictured below, Super moves will be able to take on the properties of EX moves after activation, or can be used to strengthen EX moves.

Let's give the final word to Matt Dahlgren, Senior Product Manager at Capcom. "Super Duper Street Fighter IV has been a dream of ours for some time, and that dream is now becoming a super duper reality!"

If it weren't April 1 we wouldn't even flinch at this stuff, Capcom.
