Crunchyroll to Stream "Random Hero" J-Drama

Starts Friday April 5, at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time

Some of you (and you know who you are...) have been begging Crunchyroll to get some Japanese superheroes on the site. Now, your wishes come true with the addition of the new J-drama Random Hero to the spring lineup.

Random Hero is set to broadcast every Friday starting on April 5, at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time for its premium members. Free members will be able to view this series one (1) week after initial Crunchyroll broadcast.

“Our protagonist – Kenta, played by Ryuta Sato – is a selfish, good-for-nothing type of individual, who can only think about his personal gain rather than the well-being of others.  However, after a strange set of events he is given superpowers for only 10 minutes at a time.  How will our self-indulging protagonist handle this power and will he finally learn to put others before himself?”

RANDOM HERO will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: U.S.A., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and South America.
