Ayame Goriki to Play Original Lead in Live Action "Black Butler"

Goriki stars as cross-dressing Phantomhive heir

20 year old actress Ayame Goriki has been cast as the original lead for the live action movie spin-off of Yana Toboso's Black Butler manga. She stars opposite Hiro Mizushima, who will play the titular demonic butler Sebastian Michaelis.

In a story set 130 years after the manga/anime (2020 specifically), Goriki plays the heir of Phantomhive family legacy, though the character must assume a male identity to maintain the position.

Kentaro Otani (live action NANA) and Keiichi Satou (Tiger & Bunny) will be co-directing the picture.

Casting of actor/model/writer Hiro Mizushima (Kamen Rider Kabuto) grabbed media attention since it was his return to acting after a three year hiatus in which the "ikemen’" (good-looking) actor then took a break to focus on his writing.
