"Tears to Tiara II" RPG in Development for PlayStation 3

More on tactical followup to be revealed in Famitsu magazine

Having originally kicked off as a tactical eroge RPG on PC in Japan, the, um, decidedly more blue content of Tears to Tiara was eventually removed for a PlayStation 3 version in 2008. It's since seen an enhanced version and a PSP port, and now Tears to Tiara II is in development for PS3.

Not a lot has been divulged about the follow-up, Tears to Tiara II: Descendants of the Supreme King, but details are set to be revealed in Japanese gaming mag Famitsu on April 25. It's not exactly a game you hear a lot about, but Dakkodango released an English localization patch for the PC version back in 2008.

Tears to Tiara was previously adapted into an anime—directed by Tomoki Kobayashi (Amagami SS+, Utawarerumono), with series composition by Touko Machida (Amnesia, Karneval)—as well as a manga that ran in Monthly Comic Alive
