Hokkaido tourism promo highlights anime connection

While anime characters are famous for their eccentric weapons of choice, Gintama's Gintoki Sakata might take the cake with his souvenir wooden sword from Lake Toya. The Hokkaido area really is famous for them. When President Bush visited for the 2008 G8 summit, he had his customized with the words "secret service" carved into the sword.
