"Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD" Hit with a Delay, Arrives for iOS in July

Collection was originally scheduled to come out last fall

The Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy HD has been hit with a number of delays since it was first announced for Apple's iOS devices. Originally scheduled to arrive last fall, it was then pushed back to early 2013, then April, and its absence this month had a Capcom forum user asking questions. According to the response, it's now due out in July.

The reply came from Senior VP Christian Svensson, who said, "For reasons unknown to me, the release has slid another several months to July. Sorry guys." Hey, at least it's not canceled at the moment.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy HD offers upscaled remasters of the first three Nintendo DS games in the series, including Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations. The base app will be free to download—with each game purchasable separately or all together in a bundle—and will also pack an 'Everybody Object' mode that lets players email and tweet Wright's catchphrases as sound files with accompanying animation.
