Final "Maid-Sama" Arc and New Yuki Nakaji Manga Launch in "LaLa"

"Vampire Knight" ends in next issue

2013's sixth issue of monthly shoujo magazine LaLa, on sale in Japan this past week, was a big one. Hiro Fujiwara's Kaichou wa Maid-sama! has kicked off its final story arc. The 2006 manga has so far run 16 volumes in Japan.

Meanwhile Yuki Nakaji, whose gender bender Zig Zag was, like Maid-Sama, published in North America by Tokyopop, launches a new series.

Kyou kara Aniki desu!! follows a schoolboy looking after his writer father.

To sweeten the deal, the issue of LaLa features a bonus "BIG" handing Nyanko-sensai towel, celebrating the series' 10th anniversary.

Hino Matsuri's Vampire Knight ends in the magazine's next issue. To mark this, the seventh issue, on sale May 24th, will have a special trio of illustrations and bonus set of playing cards.
