Beware: "Dragon's Dogma" Update May Corrupt Your Save Files

Capcom is working on a fix to prevent more player progress loss

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is out now on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Hooray! However, an update is causing some players to experience the woes of corrupt save files. Boo! Capcom Unity put out a PSA warning players that this could occur, and Capcom is currently working on a fix.

The problem happens with the recent downloadable patch, which will be prompted if you're booting up both the original Dragon's Dogma or the newly released Dark Arisen. In addition to making sure you back up your save data to another device and/or the cloud, Capcom advises playing offline if the issue persists.

Have any Dragon's Dogma players here run into this issue? Hopefully Capcom will get it sorted soon.
