Queen's Blade's Kinji Yoshimoto directs fantasy comedy

Details are now being filled in for another anime first announced earlier this year. Jun Sakyo's Yusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shushoku wo Ketsui Shimashita (I Reluctantly Decided to Find a Job Because I Couldn't Necome The Hero) has an anime in the works with Queen's Blade's Kinji Yoshimoto directing the Asread (Minami-ke S2+, Mirai Nikki OVA) produced project.

Tetsuya Takeuchi (Yuri Seijin Naoko-san, Rescue Wings) is on character deisgn with Masashi Suzuki (Kanokon, Oda Nobuna no Yabo) writing.

Tell me if the premise sounds a bit like the premise of an anime airing this season...

The fantasy comedy follows a young man trained up in a program which prepares boys to challenge that land's demon overlord. But that career path is derailed when another hero defeats the demon, causing a recession in the process.

Instead, the would-be hero must take a job in a magical item shop, which becomes more complicated when the demon overlord's daughter applies for a part time position.
