VIDEO: English Subtitled Featurette Promotes Second "Buddha" Anime Prepared for Cannes

Second part of trilogy due in 2014

 In 2011, Toei launched an anime trilogy adaptation of manga pioneer Osamu Tezuka's interpretation of the life of Gautama Buddha with aims of finding a broad audience for the epic movies. While the first, Buddha: The Great Departure, didn't meet with huge success, commercially or critically, the studio confirmed in January that they're continuing with the series with part two due in 2014.
