Build Your Own “Attack On Titan” 3D Maneuver Gear

Cosplayers post guide to creating your own gear

Want to cosplay one of the kick-ass characters from Attack on Titan but don’t know how to make your own three-dimensional maneuver gear? Lucky for you, Japanese cosplayer Reika (who just happens to be a Crunchyroll Ambassador) made a guide for just that, and translation tumblr Maxibuger put the whole thing in English. The instructions include a lot of parts you can find at the store (including a spray bottle, belts, thumbtacks, toy drums, water hose tips and a flashlight), though this thing has got to be a beast to make.

You can find the full instructions on Maxiburger’s tumblr, but here are some of the highlights.

What do you think? Does it look good? Is it worth it to build it, or would you rather drop anywhere from $300 to $490 on the rig?
