VIDEO: "Nemuranaide Tae-chan" Manga Author Draws Anime PV by Himself

The 1st volume is just released in Japan today

Nemuranaide Tae-chan (Don't fall asleep, Tae-chan) is a comedy manga written by Yukihiro Nakamura which has been serialized in Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Shonen Champion since July 2012. The basic story of the manga is about a 16-year-old high school girl Tae Inamori's enduring struggle to keep awake in school. You can check the first 16 pages of the manga here (hit the yellow button).

The long-awaited first volume is just released in Japan today, on June 7th. In commemoration of the release, the manga author Nakamura himself created a 52 seconds anime promotional video. If you know how busy Japanese manga artists are when they are working on serialized works on magazines, his effort deserves to be praised. In his latest tweet, he said, "I truly understand that working all by myself is hell. Animators are so amazing, seriously."
