New Karaoke and Performance Cafe Bar Now Open in Akihabara

Featuring performances from staff members.

On May 17th, Pandemonium, a karaoke and live performance bar, opened in Akihabara, Tokyo.


At Pandemonium, customers can sing karaoke, watch live performances by the female staff, and take part in live broadcasts on Japan’s popular Nico Nico Douga streaming video site. All the staff members love anime and video games, and many are aspiring idols or voice actresses. In addition to performances by Pandemonium’s staff, the bar is also recruiting outside acts to appear as guest performers.




One hour at Pandemonium costs 1,000 yen, and comes with a food and drink coin that can be exchanged for an item from the bar’s wide-ranging menu. Other courses are available, including three hours and two coins for 2,400 yen, and five hours and three coins for 3,500 yen.


Pandemonium is open from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM, and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays. The bar is closed on Mondays.
