Former gravure queen Yuka has been introduced as a member of the cast of the live-action Black Butler movie. Her Hanae Wakatsuki is the mysterious aunt/guardian of Shiori Genpo, the movie's original Phantomhive heir, played by Ayame Goriki. The role calls on Yuka to play against her typically cheerful public persona, and portray a character seven years her senior.
Hiro Mizushima plays demonic butler Sebastian Michaelis. Newly announced supporting cast includes Takuro Ohno, Ken Kaito, Tomomi Maruyama, Yu Shirota, Ken Yasuda, Satoshi Hashimoto, Taro Shigaki, Masato Ibu, and Goro Kishitani.
In a story set 130 years after the manga/anime (2020 specifically), Goriki plays the heir of the Phantomhive family legacy, though the character must assume a male identity to maintain the position. Yuka's Hanae Wakatsuki brings unique knowlege of past events into the equation.
Kentaro Otani (live action NANA) and Keiichi Satou (Tiger & Bunny) co-direct the picture, hitting Japanese theaters next spring.
