JoJo's Hirohiko Araki Art Exhibition to be Held in Italy

At Gucci's historic building from the 15th century

The official site for Hirohiko Araki, the creator of the long-running JoJo's Bizarre Adventure action manga, announced on June 19th that an art exhibition titled "HIROHIKO ARAKI AN EXCLUSIVE MANGA EXHIBITION IN FLORENCE" will be held in Firenze, Italy, from June 28th to July 14th. The place for the exhibition will be a historic building from the 15th century owned by Gucci.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the JoJo manga series, the "Hirohiko Araki Jojo Exhibition" was held in Sendai (Araki's hometown) and Tokyo in 2012. And Gucci's windows in the world showcased Creative Director Frida Giannini’s flowery 2013 cruise collection in an illustrated story by Araki in early this year. The up-coming Firenze exhibition will display 60 illustration works of Araki including the arts from the both events.
