The latest issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu has some information on one of Square Enix's most hotly anticipated games, Kingdom Hearts III. Though many probably already expected as much, series director Tetsuya Nomura confirms that the next entry will pick up right after the events of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
The selection of new worlds is currently underway, and we can expect the final battle with Master Xehanort as the core saga that started over a decade ago is finally wrapped. Though he didn't straight up confirm it, Nomura also hinted at being able to play as Riku and Kairi. "I can't say no to the possibility," he said.
The rest of the interview highlights—from improvements in the visuals to the team's friendly competition with the Final Fantasy XV team—are certainly worth checking out.
