During a livestream event this past weekend Square Enix dropped some info on the next step for Dragon Quest X. The Nintendo Wii/Wii U MMO is getting ready to make the leap to Japanese PCs, with a launch slated for September 26.
The Dragon Quest X beta is currently in progress, with the benchmark available for players to download and test out. When the final version releases it will be available as a download for ¥3,990 ($41) with a free 20-day trial, or in a Special Pack for ¥9,800 ($100). The special version comes with a Dragon Quest security token, controller, Monster Encyclopedia, microfiber world map, and a code for an in-game item.
