Microsoft Busts Out Shiny Gold 360 Controller in August

Fancypants peripheral will be priced at $54.99

If you don't feel your current Xbox 360 controller properly accentuates your untouchable baller status, Microsoft has something just for you. This August a Special Edition Chrome Series Gold Wireless Controller will launch in the US exclusively through GameStop and Microsoft Store locations.

The controller—which features the transforming D-pad—will run you $54.99. It'll also be available in select regions worldwide.

BTW it's not really gold. I know you know that but I remember one time I posted about a gold controller and someone was like IS IT REAL GOLD? Nope.
