Crunchyroll Adds Second Season of "Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East" to Anime Lineup

Starts July 8th at 11:25 am Pacific Time

The seal has been broken and now it can be revealed that Crunchyroll will begin streaming season two of the heroic legend-inspired anime Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East on July 8th, at 11:25 am Pacific Time for its premium members. Free members are able to view one week after initial broadcast on Crunchyroll.

Background and story info


Inspired by a classic Japanese heroic legend, HAKKENDEN: EIGHT DOGS OF THE EAST is based on a manga by Miyuki Abe, which was adapted into anime by Studio Deen in January 2013. The cast of voice talent includes Tetsuya Kakihara (Fairy Tail), Satoshi Hino (Gintama), Ayahi Takagaki (Sword Art Online), and Nobuhiko Okamoto (Blue Exorcist).

The second season of HAKKENDEN: EIGHT DOGS OF THE EAST will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: USA, Canada, Central & South America, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
