Pirate-Themed Maid Cafe Opens in Akihabara

"One of the most popular games involves getting slapped in the face"

“Grand Pirates”, a pirate-themed maid cafe and bar, has been open in Akihabara since mid-March.

Based on the concept of a pirate hideout in the middle of Akihabara, the cafe exudes a fun party atmosphere from the second visitors walk through the door. The cafe currently employs approximately 20 girls playing all types of characters, from pirate queens to widows to heavy drinkers.
