VIDEO: 2nd PV for "Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova-" TV Anime Posted

New TV series based on Sci-Fi Naval manga slated for this fall

The official website for Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Ars Nova-, the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Ark Performance's Sci-Fi manga Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio (Arpeggio of Blue Steel) has posted the second promotional video featuring the protagonist Gunzo Chihaya and Iona, the artificial intelligence avatar of Submarine I-401. The manga has been serialized in Shonen Gahousha's Young King Hours monthly manga magazine since September 2009. So far seven tankobon volumes have been published in Japan.


The TV anime is produced by a Tokyo-based 3DCGI studio SANZIGEN (BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER, Wooser no Sono Higurashi), and Seiji Kishi (Persona4 the ANIMATION, DEVIL SURVIVOR 2 the ANIMATION) helms the series as the director. Kazuyuki Okitsu (Jonathan Joestar in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) plays the voice of Gunzo Chihaya, the captain of the I-401 submarine, and Mai Fuchigami

(Arice Yotsuba/Cure Rosetta in Dokidoki! PreCure) plays Iona. The TV anime will premiere in Japan in this fall.
