VIDEO: Gainax and Artist Akira Yamaguchi Team Up With Dom Perignon

Details for project will be revealed at the July 26th launch of Dom Pérignon's Vintage 2004

MHD Moet Hennessy Diageo owned Dom Perignon has announced that it is working on a collaboration project with contemporary artist Akira Yamaguchi and anime studio Gainax. The details for "Dom Perignon The Power of Creation” project will be revealed at the July 26th launch of Dom Pérignon's Vintage 2004 in Tokyo.

 

Last year, Dom Perignon released collaborative bottles with product designer Marc Newson, filmmaker David Lynch, and others.

 

 

Akira Yamaguchi awarded the 4th Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art and is best known for his paintings that combine traditional Japanese techniques, such as Yamato-e, with contemporary subjects.
