VIDEO: "Tiger & Bunny The Movie - The Rising" Adds New Character, Reveals New Outfit for Bunny

Now the role is reversed for Bunny to be paired with an arrogant rookie

Plenty of new information has been revealed for the second Tiger & Bunny feature film, Tiger & Bunny The Movie - The Rising! The movie's official site updated with the new movie poster features a new outfit for Bunny and a new character as Bunny's new buddy, but no Kotetsu!

The new key visual features a new character, arrogant rookie Ryan Goldsmith a.k.a. Golden Ryan, as a hero and Barnaby Brooks Jr. in his new outfit for the second movie. Wild Tiger's back is in the background symbolically.

Barnaby looks a little mature as the story is set after "the Maverick case" where Barnaby retired with Wild Tiger, but returned as a hero and was placed in the minor league. His hair also has a double layer of curls instead of one as in the old character design. Bunny's hero suit also got a makeover.

Ryan Goldsmith (left) is a rookie hero hired by Mark Schneider (right), who heads Apollon Media after Maverick's disposal from the company. Schneider also pulled Bunny out of the minor leagues back to the majors to pair with Ryan as part of the effort to revive the business. Ryan is younger than Bunny, but he has enough credentials, including some hero experience overseas. He possesses the ability to increase the gravity of an area around him (about 30 meters).

That's Golden Ryan in his hero suit. In the trailer below, you can see a glimpse of his arrogance. Ryan is voiced by Nakamura Yuichi (Takasaka Kyosuke from Oreimo, Kintoki from Gintama, Saotome Alto from Macross F).

Tiger & Bunny The Movie - The Rising opens in Japanese theaters on February 8th, 2014. The official site is giving away character Twitter icons here.
