Artdink Handling Development of "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z" Fighter

Next DBZ game is in the works for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita

As Siliconera reports, the next DBZ fighter, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, isn't coming from Budokai Tenkaichi and Raging Blast developer Spike. Instead of the usual folks, Namco Bandai has the project in the hands of Artdink, who previously worked on games ranging from Gundam and Macross titles to Carnage Heart EXA.

Battle of Z—which is in the works for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita—brings some fresh brawling action to the table with players able to form teams of up to four characters, take on massive boss battles, or challenge others around the world in fights featuring up to eight characters on screen at once.

In addition to Japan, Battle of Z will make its way to North America, Europe, Latin America, and Brazil.
