Kiyohiko Azuma, a 45-year-old manga artist who is famous for his best seller comedy manga series Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba&!, announced on his official twitter account yesterday that he is now recruiting assistants who can draw the background arts for his on-going manga Yotsuba&!. Tha manga about a 5-year-old girl Yotsuba Koiwai and her everyday life has been serialized in the monthly magazine Dengeki Daioh since March 2003 and twelve tankobon volumes have been released. It has sold more than 10 million copies and has become one of the most successful manga series in Japan.
The working place will be in Nerima Ward, Tokyo Prefecture. If you are interested, please send your resume and some background arts which can show what kind of illustration you can draw to the following address:
