Ubisoft announced something special for those who plan on getting Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4, and it should doubly please anyone who played Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. Aveline, heroine of the PS Vita game, is getting her own PS3- and PS4-exclusive missions in Black Flag.
As the Ubisoft blog post says, Liberation writer Jill Murray returns to pen the continuing adventures of Aveline. "It's a ways forward so Aveline is a bit older," says Lead Writer Darby McDevitt. "It's not directly related to the end of her story. If Assassin's Creed IV is like a novel, Aveline's missions are like a short story."
Her side of that story will be broken into three missions, providing about an hour of exclusive content.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is set to arrive in North America on October 29.
