"Attack on Titan" Sand Sculpture Celebrates Release of Latest Manga Collection

Enoshima Higashihama beach promotes August 9th release of volume 11

With volume 11 of the Attack on Titan hitting Japan on August 9th, sand sculptor Hosaka Toshihiko ventured outside the walls on a trip to Enoshima Higashihama beach to construct a tribute sculpture out of 80 tons of sand. The finished work measured 5.4m×4.2m×3m, with a spray of natural ingredients such as milk used to fix the material.
