"Liberation Maiden Sin" Visual Novel Hits Japan in December

Sequel to Suda51's "Guild01" 3DS game gets limited edition release

Given its bite-sized nature as part of Level-5's downloadable Guild01 series on Nintendo 3DS, it seemed unlikely we'd see more from Suda51's shooter, Liberation Maiden. It's appropriate, then, that the sequel comes in the unlikely form of visual novel Liberation Maiden Sin, which hits PlayStation 3 in Japan on December 5.

The visual novel follow-up comes from 5pb., the folks behind the popular science adventure series that includes Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate, and Robotics;Notes. The story picks up after the 3DS game and follows Sin, aide to the first game's protagonist, President Shoko Ozora.

Suda51 has a hand in some of the writing for Liberation Maiden Sin, which will arrive both in a ¥7,140 ($72) version and a ¥9,240 ($93) limited edition that packs in a soundtrack CD and drama CD.
