"Super Smash Bros." on 3DS Features Removable Character Outlines

Change up the style as you see fit by thinning the lines

You probably noticed the thick cel-shading-style outline on characters in screens of the Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. It certainly differentiates the portable version from its big brother on Wii U and helps the brawlers stand out on a smaller screen, but according to a post by series mastermind Masahiro Sakurai, they're completely removable.

You'll be able to make the outlines thinner, or disappear completely, depending on your preference. The announcement came paired with the screen below, which is the first to show the Wii Fit Trainer and Animal Crossing Villager on 3DS.

What do you say, are you going outlines or no outlines?
