In addition to announcing the new 2DS handheld earlier, Nintendo also officially cut the price of the Wii U by $50. Now you'll be able to pick up a Deluxe version of the console for a suggested retail price of $299.99.
Nintendo also formally showed off the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle, which arrives on September 20 with a handful of goodies. The set comes with a specially-decorated GamePad, a download code for a digital version of the Hyrule Historia book, and a download code for Wind Waker HD that can be used in the eShop immediately.
Even if you're not getting the bundle, the digital version of The Wind Waker HD will be available for everyone to purchase on September 20, with the packaged retail release to follow on October 4. Both will cost you $49.99, and GameStop will have copies bundled with an exclusive Gandondorf figure for $54.99.
