As previously reported, the most famous vocaloid character Hatsune Miku has performed with 300 members of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and chorus groups for Isao Tomita's “Symphony Ihatov” concert tour since last year. Tomita, who is 81 years old this year, is known as one of the pioneers of electronic music in Japan. He wanted to feature the digital diva Hatsune Miku for his "Symphony Ihatov" concerts which was based on the novel world by Kenji Miyazawa, a Japanese novelist in the early twentieth century. The tour has been very successful and is planning more concerts in Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo this year. Japanese record company Nippon Columbia has posted a 5 minutes 55 seconds video from the latest concert held in Hanamaki-city, Iwate Prefecture on August 29. Hanamaki-city is the hometown of Kenji Miyazawa.
