Publisher XSEED Games is getting ready to bring the second chapter of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky to PC and PSP (also compatible with PS Vita) in the west, with the follow-up scheduled to arrive via Steam and the PlayStation Store next year.
Developed by Nihon Falcom and translated by Carpe Fulgur, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC picks up immediately after the events of the first game. XSEED sums it up briefly in the press release:
Following the explosive revelations at the very end of Trails in the Sky, Estelle feels adrift and must find her resolve along with friends both old and new, and face down the true architects of the chaos engulfing Liberl – a force far more powerful and insidious than she could ever have imagined.
The first chapter of Trails in the Sky was released on PSP in 2011, and it will finally be available on PC this winter, so those eager to play the second chapter should have plenty of time to explore the first before it comes out. Both add up to over a hundred hours of gameplay, with plenty of sidequests to tackle along the way.
