VIDEO: "I Reluctantly Decided to Find a Job Because I Couldn't Become the Hero" Anime Preview

Queen's Blade's Kinji Yoshimoto direct October light novel adaptation

This fall, Jun Sakyo's Yusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shushoku wo Ketsui Shimashita (I Reluctantly Decided to Find a Job Because I Couldn't Necome The Hero) or Yu-Sibu for short has an anime in the works with Queen's Blade's Kinji Yoshimoto directing the Asread (Minami-ke S2+, Mirai Nikki OVA) produced project. 


Tetsuya Takeuchi (Yuri Seijin Naoko-san, Rescue Wings) is on character deisgn with Masashi Suzuki (Kanokon, Oda Nobuna no Yabo) writing. ZAQ provides opening "Extra Revolution," while the ending is Sphere's "Sticking Places."



The fantasy comedy follows a young man trained up in a program which prepares boys to challenge that land's demon overlord. But that career path is derailed when another hero defeats the demon, causing a recession in the process.


Instead, the would-be hero must take a job in a magical item shop, which becomes more complicated when the demon overlord's daughter applies for a part time position.
