VIDEO: "Pokémon: The Origin" Anime Previews and New Casting

October 2nd special has added veteran voice actor Rikiya Koyama as the villainous Sakaki/Giovanni

Pokémon company has posted a series of new promos for the Pocket Monsters: The Origin TV anime special, based on Pocket Monsters: Red & Green games. Set to air October 2, the anime is co-produced by OLM, Production I.G, and XEBEC has added veteran voice actor Rikiya Koyama (Fate/Zero's Kiritsugu Emiya) as the villainous Sakaki/Giovanni.


Other cast includes Takeuchi Junko (Naruto) as Red, Eguchi Takuya (SNAFU's Hachiman, Ixion Saga DT's Kon) as Green, Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama's Gintoki) as Takeshi/Brock and Katsuji Mori (Speed Racer, Gatchman Crowds' JJ) as Prof. Okido/Oak.
