Convenience Store Chain to Launch "Monogatari" Promotion in October

Plus latest Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper ad

The latest in the Japanese arm of convenience store chain Lawson's history of anime promotion is a Monogatari tie-in, slated for early October. During the campaign, you buy specific products from Otsuka Pharmaceutical (makers of various sports and energy drinks, including Pocari Sweat). You can use the store points to get into a lottery, featuring stationary, a Shinobu donut cushion, a Nadeko figure, or, the grand prize of a signed character sketch from author Nisioisin.

Speaking of series, it's recently returned to Japan's largest newspaper, the Yomiuri Shimbun, for a new ad, promoting the new Otorimonogatari storyline, featuring illustration by Watanabe Akio.
